At the end of each day I like to write down four things from my day.
It all starts with GLAD. Please note that GLAD is not my invention. Sadly, I cant recall where I first heard of this. Perhaps in a Yoga Journal, or another health and wellness article. But the concept is genius.
G is for gratitute
L is for learned
A is for accomplished
D is for delight
So, for example, I write the following:
G: I am grateful for the peaceful neighborhood that I live in.
L: I learned that I can ask for help
A: today I accomplished my step goal
D: My cat drinks her milk with her paw, it brought me delight to see her gentle movements.
I wish you a peaceful, restful night.
